Sunday Morning Devotions
Readings and prayers are presented from Holy Writings of Manifestations of God such as those revealed by: Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Baha’i Faith, Zoroastrian Faith and other religions.
A volunteer from the Baha’i Faith leads the devotional topic which has been selected in advance. Topics may focus on spiritual development, enhancement of virtues, and deepening in understanding principles and teachings of Baha’i Faith. Music, chants and singing may be part of a devotional program. After the selected readings and prayers, attendees are excused to fellowship with community members and friends in the lower level. Individuals may choose to spend additional time in the devotional chamber for private prayers and silent meditations.
Guests are always welcome to attend Sunday morning devotionals. Baha’is, on your request, will assist you in learning more about the message of the Baha’i Faith, revealed by Baha’u’llah. Baha’i Faith strives for world unity and peace, and outlines a plan for world civilization, built on a foundation of love and justice for all humanity.
